For the first time ever in my life (I’m 90 percent sure, at least), I saw the top two weekend movies. I saw Superman Returns on Wednesday night and The Devil Wears Prada on Saturday afternoon. Am I falling deeper and deeper into the sell-out/becoming mainstream pit?
Better mainstream sell-out than indie/hipster sell-out (or the same?)! Really, I think the act of acknowledging such labels is selling out in itself. Anyway I always thought of you as more of a database of all ‘streams’. Like a computer. Or, a robot. With a helmet. Straighten your helmet.
Since you bought the a/f cargo pants, I know you are in the mainstream pit. Not becoming, you are already in it!
hmm….what if this became mainstream:

notes to video: everyone_does_not_exist mixed a new soundtrack for La Planète Sauvage (Fantastic Planet) — the 1973 surrealist sci-fi animation by René Laloux and Roland Topor — remix includes sounds from the likes of Aphex Twin, Matmos, Venetian Snares, and other composers….
soOo dope!
Superman wears …
