Hmm&#8230; sounds a bit like my favorite vampire hunter <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Buffy_Summers\">Buffy Summers<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>To make things more fun and postmodern, there is a scene where Clark tells Professor Fine (played by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0551346\/\">James Marsters<\/a>) that he thinks Lana was bit by a vampire. Professor Fine responds, &#8220;There&#8217;s no such thing as vampires.&#8221; &#8230; Except that in <i>Buffy<\/i> Marsters played the evil-turned-good vampire <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spike_%28Buffyverse%29\">Spike<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh will the references never end!
