I guess I don't know much about Charleton Heston -- mostly what I do know is from <i>Bowling For Columbine</i>, which doesn't present him in the best light. I've been brainwashed!! He spoke with eloquent insight about the film and I was impressed. Or maybe "oblivious" doesn't have as much to do with intellect as I think it does. Also, another thing not in line with his conservative tendencies: his love interest in The Omega Man is a black woman.
