		<description>Mmmm interesting. I guess I don't know much about Charleton Heston -- mostly what I do know is from &lt;i&gt;Bowling For Columbine&lt;/i&gt;, which doesn't present him in the best light. I've been brainwashed!!

I'll have to checkout &lt;i&gt;The Omega Man&lt;/i&gt;.</description>

		<description>I don't know about Charleton Heston being oblivious--in the documentary on The Omega Man disc, he comes off as far more intelligent than any other actor I have ever heard, or perhaps people were just better spoken in the '70s, I don't know.  He spoke with eloquent insight about the film and I was impressed.  Or maybe "oblivious" doesn't have as much to do with intellect as I think it does.  Also, another thing not in line with  his conservative tendencies:  his love interest in The Omega Man is a black woman.</description>
